Yesterday, Amazon and Random House placed the cover of Loon - A Marine Story on their web sites. As with so many book related events over the past six years, it took my breath away. It is the stuff that (my) dreams are made of.
It will have taken 41 years for Loon (the battle) to become Loon (the book.)
Monday, with less than four months until publication, I will begin a week-long series detailing what it took to transform 100 old letters into a major release by America's legendary publishing house.
Mon: What's the Big Idea?
Tues: Who Cares?
Wed: Let's Git'r Done
Thurs: "We Just got a Nibble"
Fri: Life in Detail
Thank you for your continuing support and, as always, thank you for visiting.

Loon is no longer just a LZ, it is a book!
I like seeing the original photo and the altered one for the cover.
More! More!
You go, bro!
Ooh, I can't wait! I just checked Amazon the other day and it still didn't have a cover, so I must have just missed it! It looks so right up there on the website, almost as good as the stunning example you sent me!
